Welcome to my "sewing" page. I still consider myself a little bit of a "newbie" since I just started sewing a little over a year and a half ago. Follow along as I learn and grow. If you are an experienced sewer, I welcome your advice!
I learned several lessons tonight (aren't I the fortunate one?) while trying to catch up on some of my bag making after everyone in my house tonight has gone to sleep.
Tonight, Beth learned:
1) If you iron the wrong side of iron-on interfacing, your non-stick iron WILL become sticky.
2) When cleaning off your now sticky non-stick iron with a wet cloth, either make sure it has cooled off some, or atleast fold the cloth three times, or you WILL burn your fingers.
3) If you are using your bed for a cutting table, as I do, and you notice that while you are cutting, your scissors suddenly start to resist, STOP and check your bedspread.
4) If lesson number 1 happens again, it's time to go to bed!
