Here you'll find what's going on in the Boyd kitchen, from cooking to crafts. I have to tell you, I have been VERY blessed with a husband who loves to cook. OH, boy! Can he cook! But the boys and I get in there, too! So, please, stay a while, enjoy and have fun with us!
HOT DOG FUN
Yes, I know that your mother told you not to play with your food, but sometimes you've gotta have some fun!
We don't eat hot dogs very often, but when we do, we like to "spruce" things up a bit. Right now our favorite thing to do is to make "octopus hot dogs". To complete the scene (and make it healthier), you can place lettuce, cucumbers, baby tomatoes, etc around to give it that "under the sea" look.
When I was growing up, my mom would buy the mustard that comes with a squirt top. Then she would take both catsup and mustard, and make people (kind of like decorating a gingerbread man) out of them.
So, go have some fun with your food!
